Afro Introductions is a great black
dating site, devoted to providing a fantastic online community perfect
for uniting people and bringing about long-lasting relationships. Afro
Introductions is part of the Cupid Media network of sites, a group of
more than 30 dating sites that have a reputation for providing quality
services to their users. All of the Cupid Media sites are focused
towards a particular user group, and Afro Introductions, is of course,
no different. With a vast range of features, we were impressed by what
Afro Introductions has to offer its users. We did however, feel that
platinum membership of Afro Introductions (which opens up all of the
features that are available on the site) was a little expensive,
especially when compared to similar membership on Black Singles, the
No.1 reviewed site in this category. The cost aside, Afro Introductions
does have a free trial membership option available, so we would suggest
that all users who think they may be interested in Afro Introductions
give membership a try and see whether they enjoy the features available
on the site.
Afro Introductions provides users with a range of
great features when it comes to starting a profile and attracting other
users. In building profiles, users have access to a range of different
'modules' or sections, which can be completed at leisure, and added to
their profiles. If you don't have much time, the basic profile will
take just minutes to complete, but if you can afford to take your time
over it, the complete profile is a really excellent way to let other
users know what you're really all about. Users get full access to a
great internal mail system, and can send 'interests' to other users to
let them know that you're interested in them. Afro Introductions also
has a great instant messaging service, letting its users get to know
each other better using active chat. We were slightly disappointed by
the fact that users can only add 5 photos to their profiles, and the
search functions are fairly limited in comparison to other sites we
have reviewed, but I guess we can't have everything!
Afro
Introductions also boasts a vast collection of extra features, such as
video profiles and video mail, which are really impressive additions.
Users can record a video profile for all users to see (to give a really
personal introduction to their profile), or send private video mail
responding to questions or moving things on a little. Users can also
add a 'Personality Profile' to their regular profiles, to let users
know a little more about them. There's also a great 'auto-match'
service, which uses information in the personality profile to match
users with their 'perfect matches'. Finally, users have access to (and
can also contribute to) a range of articles on dating, sexual safety,
travel and more. We were really impressed by the features on Afro
Introductions, and feel they set this site apart from others we have
reviewed.
Afro Introductions certainly is a great site, with a
range of excellent features that are certain to impress it's users. We
did have a couple of small issues with the site, though, such as the
fact that a user can only store 5 images on their profile, and that the
search function was limited. Similarly, the price of subscription to
Afro Introductions is, at it's cheapest, twice that of subscription to
Black Singles (our No.1 reviewed site in this category). Despite this,
we are still confident that it has a lot to offer, and to come second
in our reviews is still an accolade that is well deserved! We would
advise our users to shop around, but it's always worth giving Afro
Introductions a go by trying out its free trial membership. Hit the
